Scientifica Venture Capital launches the program “Scientifica Fellowship”, a 2-Year work contract for Innovative Scientists
Scientifica Venture Capital, a science-focused investment holding company that places scientific value at the core of its strategy, is launching a new initiative primarily aimed at scientists and researchers.
Its name is Scientifica Fellowship, it has a two-year duration and aims to enhance the careers of researchers and promote excellence in research at the national level.
“With the launch of the Scientifica Fellowship, we shine a light on researchers and scientists, giving them the opportunity to explore new horizons and propel scientific excellence on a national scale. The forge of progress and social transformation is inherent in science and innovation. This reason has driven us to establish a program to support the realization of scientific projects and nurture future industry leaders and their ideas” said Riccardo D’Alessandri, Managing Partner of Scientifica Venture Capital.
What does the program entail?
In the first phase of the program Scientifica Fellowship, profiles of researchers who have earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science or Data Science and have a project idea within the same field will be selected.
They will receive an annual compensation ranging from € 80,000 to € 100,000, an amount in line with the highest global standards, demonstrating that science can also find proper recognition in Italy.
The program offers selected researchers the opportunity to develop innovative projects within cutting-edge laboratories, access financial resources and rely on the support of Scientifica Venture Capital’s R&D team with its extensive network of industrial and academic partners.
And this is just the beginning.
In subsequent phases, the scope of research can expand to other investment verticals of Scientifica Venture Capital. In addition to Advanced Materials and Artificial Intelligence, selections will also be open to specialists in Advanced Manufacturing and Quantum Technologies, creating new horizons of discovery.
Selected researchers will be able to develop their projects not only within Scientifica Lab – 1400 sqm of facilities owned by Scientifica Venture Capital, located in L’Aquila – but also in Scientifica Lab Approved facilities: an entire network of excellence laboratories distributed nationwide. This means they can choose laboratories for validating their initiatives based on proximity to their place of residence.
Scientifica Fellowship was created to drive and support innovative scientific and technological projects, targeting researchers and doctoral candidates eager to contribute to research in Italy, acquire new skills and grow professionally.
