Research into equine biomechanics has shown that a state of calmness and cooperative behavior is achieved through the relaxation of the masseter muscles (jaw muscles), a process known as jaw relaxation. Vbite was developed to provide a gentle, non-invasive solution that encourages horses to adopt a relaxed and cooperative attitude while placing animal welfare at the center of the riding experience.

Empirical studies conducted by an international panel of veterinary experts have demonstrated that stimulating the horse’s salivary glands with a controlled vibration system increases saliva production, promoting jaw relaxation and natural chewing behavior.
Vbite mechanically recreates this physiological response by working with the horse’s natural instincts, helping to induce a widespread sense of calm, comfort, and well-being.
