Green Independence

Empower everybody
Green Independence is a climate tech start-up on a mission to transform the way energy is produced and democratize access to renewable energy.

The company’s New Artificial Leaf (NAL) technology is a modular system that integrates renewable energy generation, water purification, and green hydrogen production into a single solution.

Inspired by the natural process of photosynthesis, the NAL solar panel combines two integrated modules: the Soleidon Panel and the Electrochemical Module (ECM). The Soleidon Panel harnesses the waste heat generated by the solar panel to desalinate seawater or treat wastewater by removing chemical and saline contaminants. The Electrochemical Module (ECM) incorporates an electrochemical cell that produces green hydrogen through water electrolysis, powered by the solar energy captured by the panel.

The NAL technology is designed for deployment wherever solar exposure is available, from urban infrastructure to remote industrial sites.
