Meccano

Meccano is a centre specialized in product and process innovation through the application of the latest innovative technologies useful for design and prototyping. Through numerous modeling and simulation systems present in the Center it is possible to develop projects and drawings of complex mechanical devices or components, develop structural calculations with finite elements, simulate fluid movement and create complex machining programs for machine tools.

In addition, thanks to the ACCREDIA LAB n. 0079 and ACCREDIA LAT n. 122 accreditations at the Meccano laboratories it is possible to carry out electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), electrical safety (LVD), acoustics, IP tests, physical-mechanical, destructive and non-destructive tests necessary for the purposes of product certification and CE marking. These tests are recognized in 35 countries around the world, 26 European countries and 9 countries outside Europe (international circuits of mutual recognition EA, IAF and ILAC). The laboratories made available are places of collaboration and represent an important tool for innovation, development, experimentation and prototyping.
