IRIB – CNR

The Institute for Biomedical Research and Innovation (IRIB) is the only biomedical institution of the CNR headquartered in Palermo, representing a focal point for the communities of Sicily and Calabria. The objective of the structure is to research new diagnostic approaches and innovative therapeutic solutions, as well as to develop sophisticated methods of genetic analysis, molecular and cellular biology, epidemiology, bioinformatics, and bioengineering.
