A Sabbatical Year is a Permanent Call designed to inspire innovators to turn their ideas into action.
Its goal is to enable anyone with a promising idea to take a break from their studies or a leave of absence from work and join a program that helps transform the early stages of an idea into an innovative start-up.

Employees with an academic or professional background in R&D University students University researchers

How it works
Participation requires a mandatory 12-month leave from either academic studies or employment. This period must be entirely dedicated to transforming the idea into a tangible entrepreneurial venture.

Required documentation
Projects may still be at a very early stage. A descriptive document outlining the project’s main features is sufficient.
