Scientifica Venture Capital – an investment firm specialized in innovative technologies – is selecting a profile like yours to join its R&D team. You will have the unique opportunity to present your project, develop it with our team and have a significant impact on the smart materials sector.

Main responsibilities:

• Conduct innovative research to develop new smart materials with advanced properties;
• Design and conduct laboratory experiments to characterize and evaluate material properties;
• Analyze experimental data and interpret results to support decision making;
• Collaborate with the R&D team for material design and optimization;
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and discoveries in the field of smart materials.

Required qualifications:

• PhD in Materials Science or related field;
• Experience or in-depth knowledge in the field of advanced materials, with an understanding of their properties and applications;
• Have an innovative project idea in the field of Smart Materials;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem solving and teamwork skills;
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage one’s workload.

What we offer:

• A dynamic and stimulating work environment within a Venture Capital that places the utmost importance on scientific rigor;
• A 2-year fixed-term contract;
• An annual salary between €80,000 and €100,000, commensurate with experience and skills;
• The possibility of collaborating with an internal team of experts to evaluate the market potential, technical feasibility and sustainability of your innovative project.
