The Politecnico di Torino promotes research and the potential of individual researchers by fostering the quality of scientific production, with the aim of contributing to an increasingly cohesive international scientific community at the service of society.

The research areas cover the three areas of Physical Sciences and Engineering, Life Sciences, and Social Sciences and Humanities.

Thanks to its laboratories, advanced research infrastructures and state-of-the-art instrumentation, the Politecnico di Torino fosters the development and promotion of research with a view also to strengthening the University’s knowledge transfer model, which ranges from the conception phase to the promotion of results.
